Simple Saturday: A Little Pinspiration

pillows-collage-1

I bet from that title you thought this post was going to be about Pinterest.

Well, it’s not. It’s actually about pillows.

As I’ve gotten into home decorating (the little bit that I’m capable of doing), I may have discovered that I have an obsession…with pillows.

I love researching pillows online, testing them out at stores and finding great deals on these couch adornments.

I like pillows because they’re not a huge investment, and they can be such a nice pop of color or pattern.

Am I the only weirdo out there who thinks so? I hope not.

Here are some of my fave pillows under $60 that I’ve found:

(Disclaimer: If you come to my house, you might even see some of these in real life).

1. Iveta Abolina For DENY Pink Summer Monogram Pillow from Urban Outfitters ($44)

I’m usually not super into monogrammed stuff, but I love the artful take on these pillows from Urban.

2. Green Zig Zag Silk Pillow from Furbish Studio ($45)

One of the great things that living in Raleigh has introduced me to is Furbish. They have so many wonderful and unique home decor pieces, as well as some beautiful pillows like this one.

3. Blaney 23″x11″ pillow from CB2 ($40)

After buying some pillow covers and having to find the inserts on my own (which I bought for really cheap off of Amazon), I discovered the importance of a good, fluffy pillow insert. Which is why I’ve started only buying pillows that come with high-quality inserts. It’s totally worth it–trust me. CB2 has some great picks, and we are loving this design on our grey couch.

4. Luminous Dots Pillow from Anthropologie ($58)

There isn’t much classier than gold polka dots, in my opinion. I love the patterns and feel of pillows from Anthropologie. Extra points if you can scope out some pillows in the sale room like I did this week.
