Grocery Store Chronicles: Introducing Sprouts!

*Although this is a sponsored post, all opinions and grocery store excitement are my own.

I’ve always loved grocery shopping. It’s true!

I have fond memories of getting excited to go to the grocery store with my mom and her giving me a specific task during the trip. That was usually either adding prices up on a calculator or marking off items from the scrabbled list on the back of an envelope or scrap of paper.

Although I did occasionally try to ask for sugary things I knew I didn’t need, I was a pretty good grocery companion. And my mom was a stellar grocery store shopper — a trait I would like to think she passed down to me.

I’m always looking for grocery stores that have a nice fresh selection, lots of organic products and are budget-friendly. If you’re the same, I’m thrilled to introduce you (or re-introduce or remind you) about Sprouts Farmers Market.

About Sprouts

Sprouts is a healthy grocery store offering fresh, natural and organic foods at great prices. I’m talking sales everywhere. Sprouts stores contain around 18,000 products, 90 percent of which are natural or organic.

I was especially impressed by their produce section, where they had everything from organic apples to turmeric root! Also, their produce prices are on average 20-25% below your average supermarket.

They’re also very environmentally conscious, donating food, using food waste for animal feed and composting food waste.

Coming Soon to Durham

Even more exciting is that there is about to be a new Sprouts in NC: in Durham.

It’s opening August 22, and I’m psyched to share some more details with you in the coming weeks. If you’re in the Raleigh area, there is also a Sprouts in North Raleigh.

Stay tuned for more details on the grand opening and good food for good people!
