Groceries with Grace Update & Super Bowl Recipes

I hope everyone is having a grand week!

Mine has been a bit odd since I caught a weird 24-hour cold thing, but I just baked these salted butter chocolate chip shortbreads, so I think I’m feeling more like myself.

I wanted to give an update on my Groceries with Grace videos! They’re still going strong, and I hope you still enjoy watching them. I know some of you aren’t on Facebook, so I thought I would share the most recent one, as well as a link to see all of them on YouTube. I also try to keep the most recent one updated on the bottom right column of this page.

Here’s the most recent Groceries with Grace video:

On to the Super Bowl Snacks

What are you making for the Super Bowl this weekend?

I’m planning on whipping up some Pimento Cheese (and serving with crackers and celery), as well as a dessert (either leftover from something I’m making for Saturday night or perhaps these brownies).

If you’re looking for snack inspiration, then check out these posts:

I just know anything of the above will be a hit!

Super Snack Week (Spinach Artichoke Dip & Pimento Cheese)

Who’s ready for some more snacking excitement?!

Today, I’ve got a double header of some really amazing dips and spreads. These two recipes would be fabulous at your Super Bowl gathering. (As well as this Blue Cheese Ball from Monday!)

First off, my favorite, make it just about every holiday weekend, Spinach Artichoke Dip. It’s in a skillet, cheesy, very spinachy and totally delicious!

Next, pimento cheese is not only a defining dip in the South, but it’s super simple to make. Whip it up, then serve with crackers, pretzels, celery or anything else dippable.

Enjoy and see you on Friday for more super snacks!

Simple Saturday: Six Snacks

Six Super Bowl Snacks

So we all know by now that the Super Bowl is on Sunday.

And whether you understand sports or not (I’m definitely in the second group), it’s a great time to hang out with friends and snack!

Americans are great at snacking…and I would like to think that I’m a good snacker.

Here’s a little list of my 6 favorite snacks for your Super Bowl shindig:

Today I’ve got some news and an awesome Super Bowl snack idea for you.

Two for one!

First, the news is that my apartment is turning into a box maze and my kitchen will be entirely packed up in a week because we’re moving to North Carolina!

My husband is going to be the lead 2D artist for Imangi Studios (they made Temple Run) and we are thrilled to be moving to a bigger city with more opportunities, more hush puppies, more Trader Joe’s and two very special members of my family (sister Abby and bro-in-law Mike).

We have been feeling for quite awhile that God had a move in our near future, so we are so excited to be landing in such a great place. So, look forward to my usual posts with some NC flavor and flare.
