Mussels & Scallops & More Seafood

Back in January, I decided on a few important food resolutions.

One of them was to eat more seafood, and it had been going really well.

We did some mustard baked turbot that was tasty.

Then, we made moules frites, a Belgian specialty with steamed mussels and fries.

My husband did a great job on the twice-fried French fries, and I rocked the white wine mussels. So easy with an amazing broth.

Next, we made some amazing scallops. Seared on high heat, then topped with capers and lemon juice, these babies were tasty (and even better paired with my husband’s creamy risotto).

Eating more seafood has been easy and rewarding. All I have to do is make an effort to pick up fresh seafood, then cooking is all too quick and easy.

Other things we would like to try include coconut shrimp, mussels and pasta, and more white fish.
