Sprouts Durham is now open, as of today (August 22).
It’s in a great central location, and the store is lined with fully stocked, shiny shelves of interesting food! The store is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A few of us local bloggers got a tour before the big opening, and there was so much to see that I’ve broken it down into a few sections for you to peruse.

Produce at the heart
I didn’t realize before that Sprouts Farmers Market literally started as a farmers market in 1943. How cool is that?!
Their produce is legit. It’s the main focus of the store, and they have lots of organic options, too. Everything is so fresh and varied. I love it!
From spicy peppers to beautiful radishes, they have it all for your regular meals and the new ones you’re dying to try (like soba noodle salads for me).
Healthy to the max
It’s obvious that Sprouts is a health food store, but it’s nice to have healthy options and regular ones, too.
Sprouts makes healthy living for less easy.
Whether you want a frozen pizza on a cauliflower crust or an on-sale bag of mini cookies, Sprouts has got it.
I really enjoy shopping in the small, homey store that is somehow still packed full of products. They also have a varied bulk section and even bulk spices!
I was also impressed by how friendly and helpful the team members were. We interacted with a sushi chef, a team member in the vitamin section and many others who were excited to introduce us to products and answer any questions.
And they had plenty of samples to try throughout the sections of the store.
Featuring your favorite brands
There were so many new products from brands I love at Sprouts. There were Siggi’s products I had never seen, Tillamook ice cream and so much more. Oh and lots of cheese.
Both local and international products are in abundance.
